Solitude
The moon rises over cypresses at night — the wind rises creasing the sea — and in the day from Ai Petri Mountain over Yalta in clutching handfuls multi-colored cheerful sun-splotched all the way to the shore where dear Irra walks on the green inclines in a sweater. In the vineyards in bouquets green — abandoned white palaces — foreign — tedious — and in the stupor of night when you can’t see anything — dream. Vacant lyrics under the sun Tedious under the moon on the false scenic outlooks over the sea Crimea — and you go walking alone and catch your breath in your gut and pray soundlessly breaking down in sobs: Mountains — Stone — Forest — Shore — as if the devil brought some futurist poet through the door.
